I’m not sure that Natalia Vodianova is up to playing much actual tennis in this steamy shot by Mikael Jansson and taken from Vogue Paris’ February 2005 issue, but she sure manages to engage and get a bit of “net play” in judging by this image.

I would not recommend any of you Tumblr ‘pose re-enacters’ to try this at home, for obvious health and safety reasons. Natalia Vodianova probably found it quite difficult, working with this set in the first place. I do love the over the top 1980s glamour of Karl’s styling set against the despair of the isolated backdrop, covered with broken glass.

Christy Turlington and Natalia Vodianova admire themselves in a mirror whilst Karen Elson peers into her handbag (although it looks like she could also be admiring her amazing cleavage as well!) in this luxurious shot from the Steven Meisel shot Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter 2010 ad campaign series.

Glen Luchford’s soft-focus lens, Karl’s minimal styling and Natalia’s grown-up beauty combine together to create a hazy, romantic vision of modern beauty in this shot from an old couture editorial.

With her disheveled hair and laid-back stance, Natalia Vodianova looks like Roberto Cavalli’s ideal muse, a bohemian rock princess. David Sims allows for Natalia and Karl’s styling to take centre stage here.

Time for some classic beauty, courtesy of an editorial which Karl collaborated on with Glen Luchford. They transform Natalia into a sensual young woman in this story which has a bedroom feel to it. This close-up is more composed than the other sexy shots.

A tennis court may not be the most predictable location for a sexier Vogue Paris editorial, but set in the dark, Natalia Vodianova engages in a sensual and dramatic photo.

Last year’s Louis Vuitton ad campaign for F/W captured the feminine feel of the brand’s original runway show down to a tee.
