One of my favourite images of Sasha Pivovarova. Although the Russian model is extremely versatile in print, she has never looks this alluring or even sexy. Lying down topless in the soft sands of a beach in St. Barths whilst reading some 19th century literature (from what I can see), she looks like a 1950s beach beauty reinterpreted in a post 2000 manner. This is proof of the amazing work that Michael Thompson and Karl Templer produced together. I really, really hope that they will do another editorial project at some time in the future because their collaborations yielded uncomplicated but incredible, escapist pictures like this one.
